Engagement of Pharmacist in the Bank on Contract Basis with Fixed Hourly Remuneration, Mumbai Office

Notification Overview: Reserve Bank of India, Mumbai (the Bank) invites applications from eligible candidates for preparing a panel of twenty-two (22) Pharmacists on contract basis with fixed hourly remuneration for a maximum period of 240 days at various dispensaries of the Bank located within Mumbai and Navi Mumbai.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualifications

i
Matriculation or its equivalent examination.
ii
Applicant should possess minimum qualification of Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharm) from a recognized University registered under the Pharmacy Act, 1948.
iii
Applicant having Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (B. Pharm) can also apply for this post.

2. Professional Registration & Experience

i
Applicant should be registered with the Maharashtra State Pharmacy Council.
ii
Minimum experience of two (02) years as a Pharmacist. Experience with any Public Sector Banks (PSBs) / Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) / Government Organizations will be given preference.
iii
Applicant should have basic working knowledge of computers.

Remuneration, Duty Hours, and Other Conditions

Hourly Remuneration

Rs. 600/-

Fixed rate per hour of service.

Daily Duty Hours

5 Hours

Maximum duty period allowed per day.

Daily Remuneration Cap

Rs. 3,000/-

Maximum payable remuneration per day.

Terms & Operational Guidelines

Pharmacists (if engaged) will be paid a fixed remuneration at the rate of Rs. 600/- per hour with a maximum period of five (05) hours per day, not exceeding a maximum of Rs. 3,000/- per day.
Candidates will not be entitled to any additional pay, allowance, or any other perks/facilities apart from the stated fixed remuneration.
The offer of engagement will be strictly for a maximum period of 240 days at a stretch.
The Bank reserves the right to allocate any dispensary, at its discretion, located within the jurisdiction of Mumbai and Navi Mumbai (as defined under administrative wards/zones in the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) portal and the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) portal).
The Pharmacists (if engaged) may be attached to any one or more of the Bank’s dispensaries, as per the operational requirements of the Bank. The decision in this regard shall be final, and the Bank will not entertain any correspondence in this regard.
The services rendered by the Pharmacist/s (if engaged) will not confer on him/her any right for a temporary or permanent post in the Bank's service.

Prepare self-attested photocopies of all requisite certificates, including Professional and Academic qualifications, Caste Certificate (if applicable), Experience Certificates, Age Proof, and Pharmacy Council Registration.
Enclose the completed application form along with all supporting document photocopies inside a sealed cover.
Ensure the sealed cover is super-scribed with the exact phrase specified by the Bank.
