Eligibility and Age Limit
- Research Associate-I: Maximum age 35 years as on date of interview.
- Consultant: Maximum age 45 years as on date of interview.
- Age Relaxation: SC/ST/OBC/Women/Physically Handicapped candidates as per Govt. of India rules.
Application Process
Candidates are required to attend the Walk-in-Interview directly at the NIH, Roorkee on the prescribed date and time with:
- Complete Bio-data
- Passport size photograph
- Self-attested copies of all certificates
- Original certificates for verification
Note: Candidates must report one hour before the interview time. Admission after the start of interview will not be allowed.
Reservation Details
Reservation rules and age relaxation will be applicable to SC/ST/OBC/Women/Physically Handicapped candidates as per Government of India norms.
Selection Process
The selection will be made purely through Walk-in-Interview. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
- Appointment is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
- No allowances like DA, transport, or residential facilities will be provided.
- Selected candidates may be provided transit accommodation on payment basis as per NIH rules.
- No guarantee of continuation beyond project tenure.
General Conditions
- Professionals with requisite qualifications and experience as prescribed would be eligible.
- Selected candidates would be engaged for a fixed period for providing high quality services to the Institute.
- The appointment would be full-time and candidates cannot take up other assignments during consultancy.
- Appointment may be terminated at any time by the Institute without assigning reason.
- Selected candidates will not be entitled to DA, Residential Telephone, Transport, or Personal Staff facilities.
- No TA/DA admissible for interview. Selected candidates may claim TA/DA only for official work after joining.
- Number of posts may increase or decrease depending on projects.
- Outstation candidates must arrange their own boarding and lodging at Roorkee.
