Eligibility Criteria and Qualifications

Essential Qualification
Candidates must possess qualifications in the relevant subject/specialization with consistently good academic records and experience, comprising either:
- First Class Master degree in:
- Remote Sensing & GIS (RS&GIS)
- Geoinformatics
- Environmental Science
- Forestry
- Social Science
- Statistics
- Computer Science & Engineering
- Information Technology
- Computer Application
- Artificial Intelligence
- Data Science
From a recognized UniversityANDTwo years of research experience in a reputed institution/ organization - ORPh.D. in the abovementioned subjects.
Desirable Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates possessing:
- Research experience in Data Analytics and Blockchain technology.
- Knowledge of creating QR codes and smart contracts.
- Experience in working with village community and line departments/stakeholders.
- Experience in extensive fieldwork, data collection, and statistical analysis of data.
- Proficiency in computer applications and data analysis software (i.e., MS excel, R, Python, SPSS, RSGIS, etc.).
- Willingness to travel in the tough terrains of Himalaya.
- Good communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
Nature of Work and Key Responsibilities
- Field & social survey.
- Data collection, compilation, and statistical analysis.
- Scientific report writing, presentation, and publication of research papers.
- Organizing training and capacity building programmes.
- Development of mobile app, etc.
