Base Salary and Allowances

• 1st Year: ₹30,000 per month
• 2nd Year: ₹35,000 per month
• 3rd Year (if extended): ₹40,000 per month

In addition to the above remuneration:

• ₹12,000 per year towards medical insurance premium, attire allowance, footwear allowance, etc.
• 10% Area Allowance if posted outside Bengaluru at locations where BEL does not have units/regional offices.

Employment Type

Contract Basis – Initial engagement for 2 years, extendable up to a maximum of 3 years based on project requirement and performance.

Application Process

1. Candidates must pre-register online through https://jobapply.in/BEL2025BNGComplex between 24.09.2025 and 07.10.2025.
2. Only pre-registered candidates will be permitted for the Walk-In Written Test.
3. Candidates need to fill all required fields correctly, upload necessary documents, pay application fee (if applicable), and submit the form.
4. Call Letters for the Written Test will be available on BEL website. Candidates must download them using their login credentials.
5. Multiple applications for the same post are not allowed. Only the latest valid application will be considered.
6. Lateral applications are not permitted. Trainee Engineers already working in BEL units cannot apply for the same post.

Eligibility Criteria

• BE/B.Tech/B.Sc (4-year course) in Electronics / Mechanical / Computer Science / Electrical.
• Degree must be from AICTE/UGC approved College/Institution or recognized University.
• Candidates must possess Provisional/Final Degree Certificate showing class and percentage.
• Specialization certificate required if not explicitly mentioned in the degree.
• Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply.

Age Limit

• General / EWS: Maximum 28 years (as on 01.09.2025)
• OBC (NCL): 31 years (28 + 3 years relaxation)
• SC / ST: 33 years (28 + 5 years relaxation)
• PwBD: Additional 10 years relaxation over the above categories

Application Fee

• General / EWS / OBC (NCL): ₹177 (₹150 + 18% GST)
• SC / ST / PwBD: Exempted

Application fee must be paid through SBI Collect using the BEL payment portal. Fee once paid will not be refunded.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on Written Test followed by Document Verification.

• Written Test duration: 90 minutes
• Total Questions: 85 (Technical + General Aptitude)
• Marking Scheme: +1 for correct answer, –0.25 for wrong answer
• Minimum Qualifying Marks: General/EWS/OBC – 35%, SC/ST/PwBD – 30%
• Examination Venue: Bengaluru only
• PwBD candidates eligible for extra 20 minutes per hour
• Results will be published on BEL website

Other Important Information

• Candidates must be willing to serve anywhere in India based on project requirement.
• Medical fitness certificate from Civil/Assistant Surgeon mandatory at joining.
• Insurance: Medical coverage of ₹2,00,000 per year and Life coverage of ₹5,00,000 is mandatory.
• Retention Bonus: ₹25,000 per year for Project Engineers (after promotion from Trainee Engineer), payable as ₹1,00,000 at the end of 4 years.
• No canvassing in any form allowed – leads to disqualification.
• BEL does not charge any fee beyond the notified application fee. Beware of fraudsters demanding money for employment.
• Any dispute will fall under jurisdiction of Bengaluru Courts.
