Vacancy Details

Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum Qualification: Matriculation (10th pass) or equivalent from a recognized board.
• Experience (for both positions):
  • Minimum 2 years in Defence Forces (Army, Navy, Air Force), Central Para Military Forces (CRPF, CISF, BSF, etc.), Home Ministry Organizations (CBI, IB, RAW, etc.), or State Police (General duty, CID, Armed Reserves, etc.)
  • OR at least 5 years with recognized security agencies (PSARA license) as security guards in Government Organizations/PSUs.

Additional Eligibility for Fire Service Personnel

• Must have undergone Fire Fighting training under a State fire service or a government recognized institute (minimum 30 working days).
• Conversant with use and maintenance of extinguishers, hose fittings, fire appliances, and equipment like Fire Engines, Trailer Fire Pumps & Foam Branches.
• Desirable:
  • Valid license for driving of HCV.
  • Experience in a regular Civil or Defence Fire Brigade as Fireman.
  • General Fire Fighting Course from a government recognized institute.

Age Limit

• General Upper Age: 29 years (as on 12.09.2025)
• SC/ST: Relaxation of 5 years
• OBC-NCL: Relaxation of 3 years
• Ex-servicemen/Ex-CAPF: Service period deduction + up to 3 years, maximum 45 years
• Security agency candidates (PSARA, 5+ years’ experience): Maximum 29 years, overall cap 45 years

Reservation Details

• Reservations applicable as per Government of India norms for SC, ST, OBC-NCL, and EWS categories.
• OBC-NCL candidates must submit certificate not older than 6 months from last date of application.
• EWS candidates must submit valid income & assets certificate in prescribed format.
