Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Work Experience: Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in the field of Geo Tech testing in a Government Laboratory.
• Note: The period of training, internship, teaching, academic, fellowship, or PhD research experience shall not be counted as part of experience.
• Retired Government servants may apply through a competitive process, only for specific tasks and specific duration.

Application Process

1. Candidates must apply online through the Career Section of the RITES website (www.rites.com).
2. Upon submission, the system will generate a Registration Number which must be quoted in all future communications.
3. Applicants should upload clear and visible scanned copies of all required documents for successful submission.
4. Candidates must bring one printed and signed copy of the online application form along with original and self-attested copies of documents at the time of document verification/interview.
5. Hard copies of documents should not be sent by post or courier.
6. Incomplete applications or insufficient proof may lead to rejection of the application.

Documents Required at the Time of Verification

• Passport size Photograph
• High School Certificate for proof of Date of Birth
• Certificates of Academic & Professional qualifications (X, XII, Diploma, Graduation, Post-Graduation as applicable)
• Experience Certificates from previous employers supporting claims made in the application
• Proof of Identity & Address (Passport, Voter ID, Driving License, Aadhaar Card, etc.)
• PAN Card
• Proof of employment continuity such as last 3 months’ salary slips or latest Form 16
• Any other document(s) in support of candidature

Selection Process

• Selection will be made through an Interview only.
• Interview shall carry a total of 100 marks with a minimum qualifying score of 60 marks.
• Candidates found suitable will be placed in order of merit and offers will be issued based on the merit list and number of vacancies advertised.
• All shortlisted candidates must appear for Document Scrutiny and Verification prior to the interview.
• No TA/DA shall be admissible for attending the interview or joining the assignment.

Other Important Terms and Conditions

• Consultants will not be considered as employees of RITES Limited and will hold the status of Independent Consultants.
• They will not be entitled to PF, ESI, Gratuity, or other statutory benefits.
• Leave entitlement: 1.5 days per completed month, with no accumulation beyond a calendar year.
• Police verification is mandatory; a negative report will lead to immediate termination.
• Either party may terminate the contract with one month’s notice.
• Age, qualification, and experience shall be reckoned as on the last date of application (08.11.2025).
• RITES reserves the right to modify, alter, restrict, or cancel the recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reason.
• Number of vacancies may vary depending on project requirements.
• Candidates must regularly check the RITES website for any corrigendum or addendum to this advertisement.
