Eligibility Criteria (As on 01.10.2026)
1. Nationality / Citizenship
A candidate must be either:
- A Citizen of India, or
- A subject of Nepal, or
- A subject of Bhutan, or
- A Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
2. Educational Qualification
- Candidate must possess a Graduate degree from a recognized University/Institute approved by the Government of India or its regulatory bodies.
- The candidate must have completed graduation and have Mark Sheets and Provisional/Final Degree Certificate issued from the University/Institute/College for their graduation on or after 01.04.2022.
3. Age Limit (As on 01.10.2026)
The candidate must be a minimum of 20 years and a maximum of 28 years as on 01.10.2026.

Training Duration, Stipend & Allowances
Duration of Training
The total duration of training will be one year from the date of the contract under the Apprentices Act, 1961.
Monthly Stipend Breakdown
A monthly stipend of Rs. 16,650/- (including subsidy amount if any by Govt. of India) shall be paid to the apprentice during the period of apprenticeship:
- UCO Bank Share: Rs. 10,500/- will be credited into the apprentice's account on a monthly basis.
- Government Share: Rs. 6,150/- (subject to change as per Govt. guidelines) will be directly credited to the apprentice's Bank account through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mode as per extant guidelines.
Note: The apprentices are not eligible for any other allowances or benefits.
Application / Intimation / Examination Charges
Candidates shall make payment of the following requisite Application/Intimation/Examination Charges/Fees through ONLINE mode only. No other mode of payment will be accepted:

How to Apply (Application Process)
- Ensure Eligibility: Before applying, candidates are requested to ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria for engagement on the date of eligibility (01.10.2026).
- Register on NATS Portal: Candidates must register on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal at https://nats.education.gov.in and apply for the apprenticeship program of UCO Bank.
- Receive Email Invitation: Candidates who have registered on the NATS portal and have applied for the apprenticeship program of UCO Bank will receive an email from BFSI SSC inviting the candidate to fill up a detailed application and make payment for the Online Examination for "UCO BANK Apprenticeship Program FY 2026-27".
- Complete BFSI SSC Registration & Fee Payment: Access the portal at https://beep.bfsissc.com to complete the detailed application form, submit additional required information, and pay the requisite online examination fee on or before 29.10.2026.
- Single State/UT Limitation: Candidates can apply for engagement in one State/UT only.
Selection Process
The selection process comprises the following stages:
- 1. Registration & Application on NATS Portal: Successful application for the apprenticeship program of UCO Bank on https://nats.education.gov.in.
- 2. Online Entrance Examination: Registered and applied candidates will have to appear for an Online Entrance Examination conducted by the BFSI Sector Skill Council of India (BFSI SSC) scheduled on 07.11.2026 at 11:00 AM.
- 3. Document Verification: Submission of original certificates and photocopies for age, category, and educational qualifications as requested by the bank at any stage of the engagement process.
