Post and Vacancy Details

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must be superannuated employees of NCL.
• Candidates who retired prior to 31.12.2022 and after 31.12.2025 are not eligible to apply.
• Other eligibility conditions shall be as per the guidelines of CIL issued vide Office Order No. CIL/C-5B/MP & IR/Non-Ex./Guidelines/268 dated 12.10.2020.

Age Limit

The upper age limit for engagement is 65 years as per CIL guidelines. Engagement may be extended for one more year subject to satisfactory performance and mutual consent.

Reservation Details

• Reservation of SC/ST/OBC (NCL) categories as per Government of India rules.
• Applicants seeking reservation must submit valid caste certificates issued by competent authority.
• SC/ST/OBC (NCL) candidates selected on merit will be adjusted against UR category vacancies.

Selection Process

1. Assessment based on Physical Attendance and Annual Confidential Report (ACR) of the last three years before superannuation.
2. Physical Attendance (15 Marks):
   • Above 90% attendance: 5 marks
   • 80%–90% attendance: 3 marks
   • 70%–80% attendance: 2 marks
   • Below 70% attendance: 0 marks
3. Annual Confidential Report (ACR) (15 Marks):
   • Outstanding/Excellent grade: 5 marks per year
   • Very Good grade: 3 marks per year
4. Tie-breaking will be based on ACR grade, Date of Birth (younger preferred), and Date of Appointment (junior preferred).

Remuneration and Terms of Engagement

Remuneration and other terms will follow the guidelines of Coal India Limited (CIL) as per Office Order No. CIL/C-5B/MP & IR/Non-Ex./Guidelines/268 dated 12.10.2020. Engagement will be for one year, extendable based on performance, up to a maximum age of 65 years.
