Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

Relaxations in upper age limit are applicable as per Government of India guidelines, including relaxation for PwBD, Ex-Servicemen, and Jammu & Kashmir domiciles (1980–1989).

Reservation Details

Reservations for SC, ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), EWS, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen categories are applicable as per the Government of India rules. OBC (NCL) and EWS certificates must be issued in the current financial year by the competent authority.

Application Fee

• General / EWS / OBC (NCL): ₹ 560 (Non-refundable)
• SC / ST / PwBD / ESM / Female Candidates: Exempted from fee payment
• Payment Mode: Online via SBI e-Pay favouring NEEPCO
• Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Service Agreement Bond

• General / EWS / OBC (NCL): ₹ 2,50,000/-
• SC / ST: ₹ 1,25,000/-
• Minimum Service Period: 5 years including training period

Selection Process

The selection of candidates will be based exclusively on GATE 2025 scores. There will be no Group Discussion or Personal Interview. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria and have valid GATE 2025 scores will be shortlisted in order of merit. In case of a tie, the candidate older in age will be given preference.

Training and Placement

Selected candidates shall undergo one-year training at any one or more locations of NEEPCO. After successful completion of training, they will be placed in E-3 Grade. Candidates may be posted anywhere in India in any of NEEPCO’s Power Stations, Projects, or Offices.

5. Upload scanned copies of required documents: certificates, mark sheets, GATE scorecard, caste certificates, photograph, and signature.
6. Pay the application fee if applicable.
7. After submission, print the registration slip for future reference.

General Instructions

• Only Indian Nationals above 18 years of age are eligible to apply.
• OBC (NCL) and EWS certificates must be issued in the current financial year.
• Candidates awaiting final results or pursuing studies are not eligible.
• NEEPCO reserves the right to increase, decrease, or cancel the vacancies without assigning reasons.
• Incomplete applications or those without valid certificates will be rejected.
• Employees of Government Departments/PSUs/Autonomous Bodies must apply through proper channel and upload No Objection Certificate.
