Eligibility Criteria
- Candidate must be a resident of North East India.
- Must have Aadhaar Card (mandatory) along with PAN/Voter ID/Passport.
Graduate & Diploma Engineering Apprentices
- Graduation/Diploma not before 31 March 2024.
- Minimum 40% marks required.
Non-Engineering Graduates (B.A, B.Sc, B.Com)
- Graduation not before 31 March 2024.
- Minimum 35% marks required.
ITI Trade Apprentices
- Must have completed relevant ITI course.
Age Limit
Minimum Age: 18 years
Maximum Age: 28 years as on 01 September 2025
Age Relaxation: As per Government of India rules for SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Ex-Servicemen.
Reservation Details
Reservation applicable as per Government of India rules for SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Ex-Servicemen categories.

Selection Process
- Candidates shortlisted from Apprenticeship Portal database.
- Selection based on merit – marks obtained in degree/diploma/ITI.
- Preference to candidates belonging to the same state as the Power Station.
- Final list available at NEEPCO website and call letters sent via registered email.
Application Process
For Graduate, Diploma & Non-Engineering Apprentices
- Register at National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS 2.0).
- Obtain valid enrolment ID after registration.
- Login → Search for “NEEPCO” → Apply under relevant Advertisement ID and stream.
For ITI Trade Apprentices
- Register at National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS).
- Search for NEEPCO (Establishment Code: E02161700001).
- Apply for desired trade using valid enrolment ID.
General Instructions
- Read the advertisement and instructions carefully before applying.
- Apply only against the specific Advertisement ID / Opportunity Code.
- Upload valid academic documents with percentage/CGPA clearly shown.
- ITI candidates must upload ITI Pass Certificate and mark sheets.
- Candidates who have already undergone similar training are not eligible.
- Candidates awaiting final results should not apply.
