Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualification
- Candidates must possess a postgraduate degree in English, Social Science, or any allied discipline.
- Applicants must have secured a minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying postgraduate degree.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
- Preference will be given to candidates holding NET, M.Phil., or Ph.D. qualifications.
- Candidates having familiarity with contemporary debates on Artificial Intelligence (AI), Large Language Models (LLMs), academic writing, and qualitative research methods, especially ethnography, will be preferred.
- Applicants should have the ability to read and engage with theoretical texts and assist in conceptual research involving thinkers and concepts related to creativity, originality, and interpretation.
- Experience in academic and research writing, including literature reviews, research articles, reports, and scholarly documentation, is desirable.

Age criteria for the post will be applicable as per the norms prescribed by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR).
Nature of Work and Responsibilities
The selected Research Assistants will work on various academic and project-related activities associated with the ICSSR Minor Research Project.
- Literature review and academic research assistance.
- Data collection and analysis.
- Preparation and maintenance of project-related documentation.
- Assistance in accounts and audit-related work.
