Important Dates

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidate must possess an MBBS Degree from a University or Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
• Must have completed CRRI (House Surgeon) training for a minimum of 12 months.
• Must be a registered practitioner under the Madras Medical Registration Act, 1914.
• Should have registered with the Tamil Nadu Medical Council on or before 21.11.2025.
• Must qualify the Tamil Eligibility Test (SSLC level) with minimum 40% marks.
• Eligible citizenship includes citizens of India, Nepal, Bhutan, and certain persons of Indian origin from specified countries intending permanent settlement in India.

Note: Age concessions apply to Differently Abled and Ex-Servicemen candidates as per the Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016.

Reservation Details

• Rule of reservation is applicable as per Tamil Nadu Government norms.
• Backward Class Muslims (BCM): 3.5% reservation within BC quota.
• Women Reservation: 30% of total posts are reserved for women candidates.
• Differently Abled Candidates: 4% reservation (Disabilities: LD, LC, CP, DF, MuD, AC, SLD – 40–80% disability range).
• Ex-Servicemen: 5% of total posts reserved.
• PSTM: Persons Studied in Tamil Medium given preferential selection.
• Transgender Reservation: As per Tamil Nadu Transgender Welfare Board (TNTGWB) norms.

Application Fees

Note: Fees once paid will not be refunded or adjusted for any reason.

Selection Process

1. Tamil Language Eligibility Test (SSLC Level) – qualifying test with 40% marks minimum.
2. Computer-Based Test (100 objective-type questions, UG Level, English only). No negative marking.
3. Incentive Marks for COVID-19 Duty as per service duration (2–5 marks).
4. Final selection based on total marks (CBT + incentive) with reservation policy.
5. No oral test or interview will be conducted.

Examination Centres

Examination will be conducted in one or more centres across all 38 districts of Tamil Nadu (tentative). Candidates must appear at their own expense; no TA/DA will be provided.

Physical Fitness Requirement

Candidates provisionally selected for appointment must produce a Medical Fitness Certificate in the prescribed format (Standard-III or better) for executive posts before appointment.
