Eligibility Criteria
- Master’s Degree in Economics / Applied Economics / Business Economics / Master of Business Economics (MBE) / MBA (Business Economics) with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade.
- Candidate must have cleared NET (National Eligibility Test) or SET (State Eligibility Test).
- Ph.D. holders as per UGC Regulations 2009 or 2021 are exempted from NET/SET.
- Foreign degree holders must provide equivalence certificate from UGC.
Age Limit (as on 01.01.2026)
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 40 years (for General Category Male)
- Age Relaxation:
- Female (MP Domicile): 5 years
- SC/ST/OBC/EWS (MP Domicile): 5 years
- Government/Board Employees: 5 years
- Persons with Disability (PwD): up to 10 years

Selection Process
- Written Examination (Objective Type) – 400 Marks, 2 Hours Duration, Negative Marking applicable, based on UGC NET level syllabus.
