Eligibility Criteria

Master’s Degree in Geology or allied subjects with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.
Must have cleared NET / SET / SLET or hold a Ph.D. degree as per UGC Regulations (2009 / 2018).
Allied Subjects: Applied Geology, Paleontology, Geophysics, Earth Science, and Remote Sensing.
Candidates must be Indian citizens.

Age Limit

Minimum Age: 21 years
Maximum Age: 40 years (as on 01 January 2026)
Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST/OBC (MP Domicile), Female Candidates (MP Domicile), and other categories as per government norms.
