Application Process

- Upload scanned photo, signature, and relevant documents.
- Pay the application fee online via debit/credit card or net banking.
- Take a printout of the final submitted form for reference.
Eligibility Criteria
- Postgraduate degree in History with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) from a recognized university.
- Must have cleared NET/SET/SLET in History conducted by UGC/CSIR or equivalent.
- Candidates with a Ph.D. degree as per UGC Regulation 2009/2018 are exempted from NET/SET/SLET.
- Allied Subjects: Modern History, Medieval History, Ancient History.
Age Limit (as on 01.01.2026)
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 40 years
- Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST/OBC and Women (M.P. domicile) as per government rules.
