Salary Details

Note: Consolidated remuneration includes Basic, DA, HRA, Conveyance, Mobile Allowance, etc. Annual remuneration will increase by 4% after completion of every year subject to project requirement and discretion of KRCL.
Allowances and Facilities
- Reimbursement of Life Insurance premium up to ₹500/- per month.
- Medical Allowance of ₹500/- per month for OPD expenses.
- Reimbursement of Health Policy premium up to ₹500/- per month.
- Travel Allowance as per KRCL policy for official work beyond project area.
- Complimentary Railway Pass (Sleeper Class) for duty travel.
- Rest House facility or hotel reimbursement as per KRCL norms.
- Leave entitlement: 15 days earned leave every 6 months (2.5 days per month, can be accumulated but no encashment) + 8 days casual leave per year. Weekly off and public holidays applicable.

Application Process
The selection is through Walk-in Interview. Candidates must bring:
- Duly filled prescribed application form (Annexure-A)
- Original certificates and one set of self-attested copies (age proof, qualification, experience, caste/EWS certificates, etc.)
- Two passport size photographs
- Character certificate from a Gazetted/Executive Officer
Venue of Interview: Executive Club, Konkan Rail Vihar, Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd., Near Seawoods Railway Station, Sector-40, Seawoods (West), Navi Mumbai.
Selection Process
- Initial screening of applications
- Walk-in Interview (Group Discussion/Written Test may be added depending on number of candidates)
- Final selection based on Interview performance, Qualification, and Experience
- Medical fitness test mandatory before appointment
General Terms and Conditions
- Contract period: One year, extendable as per requirement.
- Indemnity Bond: Selected candidates must execute an indemnity bond of ₹50,000/- on ₹100/- stamp paper.
- Contract appointees shall not claim permanent absorption in KRCL.
- Termination: Either side may terminate with one month notice or payment in lieu.
- Income Tax, Professional Tax, and other statutory deductions will apply.
- No accommodation, food, or mess allowance will be provided.
- Candidates should be prepared to join project sites within 30 days of appointment offer.
- Any canvassing will lead to disqualification.
