Application Process
Candidates must apply online through the official IFSCA website. No other mode of application will be accepted.
- Visit www.ifsca.gov.in and navigate to the “Careers” section.
- Click on the notification titled “IFSCA Recruitment Exercise - Recruitment of Officer Grade A (Assistant Manager) - 2025”.
- Register by providing Name, Contact details, and Email ID. A provisional registration number and password will be generated.
- Fill in the application form carefully. Upload scanned copies of photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and handwritten declaration as per the specifications.
- Pay the application fee online using Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, IMPS, or Wallets.
- Submit the completed application form. Take a printout of the system-generated application and e-receipt for records.
Eligibility Criteria
General Stream
- Master’s Degree with specialization in Statistics/Economics/Commerce/Business Administration (Finance) or equivalent/Econometrics
- OR Bachelor’s Degree in IT/Computer Science/MCA/Information Technology
- OR Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce with CA/CFA/CS/ICWA
- OR Bachelor’s Degree in Law
Legal Stream
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law
IT Stream
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT/Computer Science/MCA/Information Technology
Note: Candidates must have obtained at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST). Final-year students awaiting results are eligible but must produce proof before joining.

Selection Process
- Phase I – Online Screening Examination:
- Paper 1: General Awareness (financial sector), English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning (100 marks)
- Paper 2: Stream-specific (100 marks)
- Duration: 60 minutes per paper, Negative marking: 1/4th mark
- Cut-off: Separate for each paper and aggregate (40%)
- Marks not counted in final selection, only for shortlisting
- Phase II – Online Examination:
- Paper 1: Descriptive English (Precis, Essay, Comprehension – 100 marks)
- Paper 2: Stream-specific (100 marks)
- Cut-off: Paper 1 – 30%, Paper 2 – 40%, Aggregate – 40%
- Weightage: Paper 1 (1/3), Paper 2 (2/3)
- Phase III – Interview:
- Conducted for candidates shortlisted from Phase II
- Weightage: Phase II (85%), Interview (15%)
- For IT stream: Mandatory qualifying Coding Test before interview
