Educational Qualification

Candidates applying for the post must fulfill the following educational qualification:

• Candidate must possess B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• The degree must be obtained from a Government recognized University / Institute recognized by State Government, Central Government, or any other statutory authority.

Essential Work Experience Requirements

Candidates should have relevant experience in construction works related to:

• Metro Rail Projects
• Railways
• Flyovers
• Road Under Bridges (RUBs)
• Bridges
• Multi-storied Buildings

Experience Required for Chief General Manager (CGM) Level

Private Sector Candidates

• Minimum 23 years of post-qualification experience in a reputed private organization.

Government Organizations / Indian Railways / PSUs / Metro Rail Corporations

• Minimum 20 years of post-qualification experience.
• At least 17 years should be in Executive level positions.
• Minimum 4 years experience in SAG/GM Grade.
• Equivalent grade includes 7th CPC Level-14 or IDA scale of ₹1,20,000-₹2,80,000.

Experience Required for General Manager (GM) Level

Private Sector Candidates

• Minimum 20 years of post-qualification experience in a reputed private organization.

Government Organizations / Indian Railways / PSUs / Metro Rail Corporations

• Minimum 17 years of post-qualification experience.
• Minimum 14 years should be in Executive level positions.

Pay Scale Eligibility Criteria

Chief General Manager (CGM)

• Applicants working in IDA scale / PSUs must have minimum 4 years experience in IDA pay scale of ₹1,20,000-₹2,80,000 or above.
• PSU candidates drawing consolidated pay must have minimum 4 years experience in GM Grade and minimum CTC of ₹2,50,000 per month.
• Applicants working in CDA scale must have minimum 4 years experience at Pay Matrix Level-14 (SAG/NFSAG) under 7th CPC or equivalent scale.
• Candidates applying on post-superannuation basis should have worked minimum 4 years in IDA scale of ₹1,20,000-₹2,80,000 or above OR CDA Pay Matrix Level-14 (7th CPC) or above.

General Manager (GM)

• Applicant must be working in IDA pay scale of ₹1,20,000-₹2,80,000 or should have minimum 2 years experience in IDA pay scale of ₹1,00,000-₹2,60,000 or above.
• PSU candidates drawing consolidated pay should have minimum CTC of ₹2,50,000 per month at GM level.
• CDA scale candidates must be at Pay Matrix Level-14 (SAG/NFSAG) or equivalent OR have minimum 2 years experience at Level-13/13A or equivalent scale under 7th CPC.
• Post-superannuation candidates should be currently working or retired from IDA Pay Scale ₹1,20,000-₹2,80,000 or above OR CDA Pay Matrix Level-14 (7th CPC) or above.
