Eligibility Criteria: Qualifications and Experience
Position 3(i): Project Fellow (for Development of CFD guidelines)
- Option A: Ph.D. in Mechanical / Civil / Hydropower Engineering or relevant discipline having CFD / design-based work in hydro turbine / Pump.
- --- OR ---
- Option B: M.Tech in Mechanical / Civil / Hydropower Engineering or relevant discipline with 3-year experience in CFD / design of hydro turbine / pump.
Position 3(ii): Project Fellow (screw low head turbine / other low head turbine)
- Ph.D. or M.Tech in Mechanical / Hydropower / Aeronautical / Civil Engineering or relevant discipline having Design including SolidWorks and CFD based work of hydraulic turbine / rotating machine / aerodynamics.
Position 3(iii): Project Fellow / Research Associate (for Potential Assessment)
- Ph.D. or M.Tech in Mechanical / Hydropower / Civil Engineering or relevant discipline having experience in potential assessment of renewable energy resources.
Position 3(iv): Research Associate (for mechanical design of model and prototype turbine)
- M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline with experience in composite manufacturing and testing of hydrokinetic turbine.
Consultancy & Research Project Specifics
- Full Title of Project: Centre of Excellence - Research and development of Ultra Low Head (ULH) and Hydrokinetic Turbines and performance prediction of small hydro turbine model projects.
