Remuneration, Allowances & Official Travel Entitlements

| Monthly Remuneration | A fixed monthly amount shall be admissible, arrived at by deducting the basic pension from the pay drawn at the time of retirement. The amount of remuneration so fixed shall remain unchanged for the term of the contract. |

| TA / DA on Official Tour | Retired employee engaged may be allowed TA/DA on official tour, if any, as per their entitlement at the time of retirement. |
Eligibility Criteria
1. Qualifying Service / Retirement Background
- Person retired from any DPSU at the pay scale of E-8 / E-9 or equivalent Central Government Pay Level of 13 / 14 and above.
- OR Professors / Scientists retired from IITs, CSIR, DRDO, ISRO, etc.
- OR Any other officer retired from analogous posts of Central Government at the Pay Level of 13 / 14 and above.
2. Vigilance & Disciplinary Record
The applicant should have a clear vigilance/disciplinary record at the time of retirement. A prescribed declaration/undertaking is essential.
3. Educational Qualification
- Essential Qualification: Graduate Degree in Engineering / Technology or equivalent discipline from a recognized University / Institute.
- Desirable Qualification: Master’s or Higher Degree in Engineering / Technology.
Mandatory Qualification Note: Only full-time regular courses will be considered as qualification and all qualifications should be recognized by AICTE / UGC / Respective State Boards for Technical Education / Appropriate Indian Statutory Authorities.
4. Experience Requirements
- Essential Experience: Substantial experience in Defence Establishment, R&D, Technology Development, Engineering / Product Development, Project Management, Manufacturing / Production Technology, Indigenization / Value Engineering, Technology Transfer, Academic / Research collaboration, Defence / Strategic Technologies or allied technical domains in Defence Establishments, DPSUs, DRDO or comparable organisations. The candidate should have demonstrated experience in management / execution of multidisciplinary Technical Projects / Programmes, stakeholder coordination and interaction with industry, R&D organizations, academic / research institutions and / or Government agencies.
- Desirable Experience: Preference may be given to candidates having experience in Defence R&D and Technology Development; DRDO / DPSUs / Defence Establishments; Collaboration with IITs, IISc or other premier Technical / Research Institutions; Management of sponsored / Industry-sponsored research projects; Technology development, prototyping, productisation and Technology transfer; Coordination with DRDO, iDEX, Armed Forces and Govt. agencies and management of research project activities, involving faculty, professors and research scholars. Exposure to Defence / strategic technologies or emerging technology domains will be an added advantage.
5. Age Limit
- Upper Age Limit: 65 years (Maximum) as on closing date of advertisement.
- Cut-off Date: 06-11-2026.
