Salary and Benefits
Consolidated Pay: ₹40,000 per month

Job Description and Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one counselling support to all students, and be available to staff, faculty, and residents of IIT Gandhinagar.
- Act as the point of contact for students requiring interpersonal or emotional counselling.
- Work with students from diverse social and economic backgrounds.
- May need to work during evenings and/or weekends.
- Conduct workshops, talks, and group discussions to address emotional and interpersonal needs.
- Maintain confidentiality but report extreme cases requiring intervention to Faculty-in-charge, Counselling Services or Dean, Student Affairs.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Institute.
Terms and Conditions of Engagement
- Selection will be based on interview and only the shortlisted candidates will be intimated well in advance.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
- The incumbent will not have any legal right to claim regularization/appointment by absorption or otherwise against any regular posts or further contractual engagement upon termination of the contract.
