Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualification

Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University.
Candidate must be an Ex-Serviceman with minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in Supervisory Capacity.

Desirable Qualification

Experience of at least 1 year in Supervisory Capacity in Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (IIIT/NIT/IIT/CFTIs).
Basic knowledge of computer skills.
Good communication skills and knowledge in maintaining visitor pass system, identity verification, material movement records, and lock & key management.
Knowledge in Firefighting and emergency response system.
Knowledge of local language will be an added advantage.

Job Requirements / Nature of Duties

Day-to-day functioning of the Security of the Institute.
Monitoring the duty of private security personnel engaged through contract.
Ensuring smooth functioning and management of private security staff.
Carrying out regular patrolling of IIITDM Kurnool campus and inspections at duty points.
Conducting enquiries in case of pilferage or miscreant activities.
Coordination with local police and district authorities regarding security issues and encroachment removal.
Taking necessary actions to ensure smooth functioning of offices during strikes/agitations.
Managing applicable protocols during VIP/VVIP visits to IIITDM Kurnool.
Maintaining all files and records related to security.
Ensuring strict surveillance to prevent criminal offences within the campus.
Carrying out any other duties assigned by IIITDMK Management.
