Salary & Emoluments
Senior Resident (Regular)
₹67,700/- per month + allowances as per Level-11 of the 7th CPC.
- Deduction of ₹1,350 if only Diploma is possessed
- Deduction of ₹2,250 if no Diploma/Degree is possessed (as per ESIC rules)
Full-Time Contractual Specialist
As per ESIC Headquarters’ Office Memoranda (different for Junior Specialist and Senior Specialist as per rules).

Eligibility Criteria
Senior Resident (Regular)
- Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in relevant specialty from a recognized University
- Must be registered with Delhi Medical Council (DMC) / Medical Council of India (MCI)
- If PG not available → MBBS with 2 years’ experience (including 1 year in specialty) from Govt./Private hospital (not private clinic)
Full-Time Contractual Specialist
- MBBS + PG Degree with 3 years’ post-PG experience OR PG Diploma with 5 years’ post-Diploma experience
- Registered with DMC/MCI/SMC
Part-Time Super Specialist
- DM/MCh in relevant super-specialty as per ESIC rules
Age Limit
- Senior Resident (Regular): Not exceeding 45 years as on the date of interview (relaxable for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government rules).
- Full-Time Contractual Specialist: Not exceeding 69 years as on the date of interview.
- Part-Time Super Specialist: Not exceeding 69 years as on the date of interview.
