DevOps Job Description, Roles & Responsibilities

The candidate selected for the DevOps position at Digital India Corporation will be responsible for handling end-to-end technical infrastructure, cloud operations, deployment pipelines, and reliability engineering:

• Cloud Environment Management: Experience in managing and maintaining cloud-enabled applications across Dev, UAT, and Production environments.
• Server Administration & Optimization: Server management, including provisioning, setup, scaling, performance monitoring, bandwidth management, and latency optimisation.
• Application Security Management: Comprehensive vulnerability management, access controls, firewall/WAF configuration, intrusion detection, encryption protocols, security audit support, and active incident response.
• Cloud Security Controls: Hands-on implementation of IAM policies, TLS/HTTPS-based secure communication channels, data encryption at rest and in transit, API gateway security, and regular security testing support.
• Scalability & High Availability Architecture: Execution of horizontal scaling, auto-scaling configurations, load balancing, redundancy frameworks, caching mechanisms, Content Delivery Networks (CDN), database replication, and fault tolerance architecture.
• Monitoring, Alerting & Centralized Logging: Operational experience using cloud monitoring tools, centralized logging mechanisms, structured logs, log rotation policies, real-time alerting, and system troubleshooting through metrics correlation.
• Backup, Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity: Execution of automated and manual data backups, verification routines, redundancy setups, restoration drills, DR planning, and comprehensive business continuity support.
• CI/CD Pipelines & Cloud Automation: Demonstrated experience in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, automation frameworks, and scalable deployment environments, supported by published case studies, technical blogs, or open-source contributions.
