Eligibility Criteria

• Junior Engineer (Civil): Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institution. Candidates must have held the post of Junior Engineer (Civil) or a superior post at the time of retirement from Central/State PWD or CPSUs/PSUs.
• Junior Engineer (Electrical): Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University/Institution. Candidates must have held the post of Junior Engineer (Electrical) or a superior post at the time of retirement from Central/State PWD or CPSUs/PSUs.
• Preference will be given to Retired Government Engineers having experience in building construction and maintenance.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit is 64 years as on 22.09.2025. No extension shall be granted beyond the age of 65 years.

Remuneration

• For retired employees from pensionable Government employment: Consolidated monthly remuneration will be computed by deducting the pension amount from the last drawn salary.
• For retired employees from non-pensionable Government or Semi-Government employment such as Autonomous bodies, PSUs etc.: Consolidated monthly remuneration of ₹33,630/- per month.
• In addition, selected candidates are entitled to TA/DA for tours undertaken for official works at rates applicable to regular Junior Engineers.

Leave Eligibility

• Maximum of one day leave for every month of completed service in addition to Government Holidays.
• No other leave with pay will be admissible.

Other Conditions

• Selected candidates will be required to sign an Agreement as per ESIC Headquarters’ Letter No. Pt.PS/SE-V/Staff Matter/2013-PMD dated 08.03.2018.
• Tenure of contract is one year which may be extended further on a yearly basis based on satisfactory performance or until the appointment of a regular incumbent, whichever is earlier.
• No extension shall be granted beyond the age of 65 years.
• Candidates are required to bring all their original certificates and documents along with two sets of self-attested photocopies on the date of Interview.
