Eligibility Criteria

• Qualifications:
• Library & Information Science: Graduation + Degree or Diploma in Library & Information Science
• Computer Science: Three Years Diploma in Computer Science
• Photography/Videography: Three Years Diploma in Photography/Videography or ITI Certificate
• Printing Technology: Three Years Diploma in Printing Technology
• Age Limit:
• Maximum Age: 28 years on the date of written/interview
• Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates
• Additional Criteria:
• Candidates should have passed in 2022, 2023, or 2024.
• Registration on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal is mandatory.

• Registration on NATS: Candidates must register on the NATS portal before applying.
• Previous Apprentices: Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training in any institute/organization are not eligible.
• Post-Training Employment: No guarantee of employment or absorption after apprenticeship.
• TA/DA: No TA/DA will be provided for attending the selection process.
• Legal Jurisdiction: In case of any dispute, the legal jurisdiction shall be that of the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi.

Terms and Conditions

• All applicants must ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria and fulfill all requirements before applying.
• The selected apprentices must execute a contract for a 12-month training period, as per the provisions of the Apprenticeship Act, 1961.
• There will be no absorption into DRDO after the completion of the apprenticeship training.
• Any form of canvassing or personal follow-up with an intention to influence the selection process will lead to the immediate cancellation of the application.
• DESIDOC reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of seats for apprenticeship training depending on organizational needs.
• DESIDOC reserves the right to withdraw or cancel the advertisement or the selection process without assigning any reason.
• No quarters, hostel accommodations, or transport will be provided to apprentices by DESIDOC or DRDO during the apprenticeship period.
