Eligibility Criteria

Experience & Skill Set (as on September 30, 2025)

1. Candidate should have a minimum of 25 years of overall experience in different verticals or domains in banking or financial services in India.
2. Should have strong expertise in areas such as Credit, Risk Management, Treasury, Digital Banking, Compliance, Regulation, or Supervision.
3. Should be currently working as a Whole-time Director in any scheduled commercial bank.
4. Should possess strong communication skills, emotional intelligence, negotiation ability, empathy, and leadership qualities.
5. Should have a proven track record of leading teams of talented professionals and a clear vision to take the Bank to greater heights.
6. Should possess a sound understanding of the regulatory landscape and experience in dealing with regulatory and supervisory issues.

Educational Qualification

• Any Graduate / Post Graduate from a recognized university under regular curriculum.
• Candidates with additional professional qualifications are desirable.

Other Requirements

• No vigilance case or adverse observation from RBI should be pending against the candidate identified for appointment.
• Knowledge of Tamil language is highly desirable as more than 60% of the Bank’s operations are from Tamil Nadu.
• Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.
