BHEL Haridwar Trade Apprentice Recruitment 2026-27 – Overview

Applications are invited for apprenticeship training in multiple trades under the Human Resource Department of BHEL Haridwar. Candidates must apply through the Apprenticeship India portal and BHEL career website as per instructions.

Trade-wise Vacancy Details

Eligibility Criteria

• Must have passed High School (10th)
• Must have ITI from NCVT/SCVT recognized institute
• ITI pass years: 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026 only
• Must be a regular ITI candidate (private candidates not eligible)
• No prior apprenticeship training allowed
• No work experience of 1 year or more allowed

Age Limit (as on 01 July 2026)

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• General: Maximum 27 Years
• OBC (NCL): Maximum 30 Years
• SC/ST: Maximum 32 Years
• PwD: Additional relaxation of 10 years

Important Dates

Reservation Details

• Reservation applicable for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/EWS/PwD as per government rules
• Preference given to Uttarakhand domicile candidates
• Reservation for BHEL employees’ wards as per company rules
• OBC certificate must be after 01.04.2025 and in prescribed format
• EWS certificate must be valid for FY 2026-27

Selection Process

Selection will be based on weighted merit list:

• ITI marks weightage: 70%
• High School marks weightage: 30%

Tie Breaking Rules:

• Higher ITI percentage preferred
• If still tied, older candidate preferred

1. Register on Apprenticeship Portal: https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in
2. Apply online on BHEL career portal: https://hwr.bhel.com/recruitment
3. Fill complete application form with correct personal, academic and ITI details
4. Upload photo (30KB JPG/JPEG) and documents (PDF up to 500KB)
5. Submit application and download acknowledgement slip
6. Send hard copy with documents to BHEL Haridwar address before 27 July 2026

Important Instructions

• Aadhaar verification must be successfully completed on portal
• Incorrect Aadhaar details will lead to rejection
• ITI private candidates are not eligible
• Candidates with terminated apprenticeship within 3 months are not eligible
• Only ITI pass years 2023–2026 are eligible
• Candidates must arrange their own accommodation and food
• No TA/DA will be provided for joining
• Selection does not guarantee employment in BHEL
• Management reserves right to cancel/modify recruitment anytime
