Stipend / Salary Details

• Graduate Apprentice Stipend: ₹12,300 per month
• Technician Apprentice Stipend: ₹10,900 per month
• 50% stipend is paid by BHEL and 50% is reimbursed by the Government of India under the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS), Ministry of Education.

Eligibility Criteria

Graduate Apprentice

• B.E./B.Tech in relevant branch from a recognized institution
• Passed in May 2023 or later
• Minimum 65% marks for General/OBC/EWS candidates
• Minimum 60% marks for SC/ST candidates

Technician Apprentice

• Diploma in Engineering in relevant branch
• Passed in May 2023 or later
• Minimum 65% marks for General/OBC/EWS candidates
• Minimum 60% marks for SC/ST candidates

Age Limit (as on 01 February 2026)

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age for General/EWS: 27 years
• Maximum Age for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 30 years
• Maximum Age for SC/ST: 32 years
• Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): Additional 10 years age relaxation

Reservation Details

• Reservation applicable as per Apprentices Act and Uttarakhand State rules
• Reservation available for SC, ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), EWS, and PwBD candidates
• OBC certificate must be issued after 01 April 2024
• EWS certificate must be valid for Financial Year 2025–26
• Preference will be given to Uttarakhand domicile candidates
• Reservation applicable to wards of BHEL employees as per company rules

Selection Process

• Selection will be purely based on merit
• 70% weightage to marks obtained in B.E./B.Tech/Diploma
• 30% weightage to marks obtained in Class 10
• Final merit list will be prepared using weighted average
• If eligible candidates are equal to or fewer than vacancies, all eligible candidates may be selected
