AIIMS Rishikesh Recruitment 2026 – Project Associate-I Post

Applications are invited by All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Rishikesh for the recruitment of Project Associate-I under an extramural funded research project titled “Comparison of efficacy of oral modafinil in improving cognition in adolescents with intellectual disability aged 10-18 years: a double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled trial.”

This recruitment is being conducted for a research project funded by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), New Delhi under the supervision of Principal Investigator Dr. Prateek Kumar Panda. The appointment is purely on a temporary and contractual basis.

Candidates must possess any of the following educational qualifications from a recognized university or equivalent.

Master’s Degree in any subject related to medical science such as Psychology or Psychiatry or Life Science.
OR Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine from a recognized university or equivalent qualification.

Terms and Conditions

The recruitment method may involve Written Examination or Interview or both.
The selected candidate must join within 5 days of the declaration of the result; otherwise the offer will automatically stand cancelled.
This position is not permanent with AIIMS Rishikesh.
The post is purely contractual. Initially the contract will be for one month due to partial funds received for the first year.
The contract may be extended up to one year or until completion of the project depending on performance and availability of funds.
No claim for regular employment at AIIMS Rishikesh shall be entertained.
Employee Performance Indicators will be applicable.
Incomplete applications or applications received after the due date will not be considered.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
Experience must be obtained after acquiring the minimum essential qualification.
Qualifications, experience, and other conditions may be relaxed or altered at the discretion of the Director AIIMS Rishikesh or the Recruitment Committee.
No allowances or facilities other than the mentioned emoluments will be provided.
The decision of the Recruitment Committee will be final.
Submission of incorrect or false information at any stage will lead to disqualification.
If the performance of the appointed candidate is unsatisfactory, the appointment may be terminated without prior notice or compensation.
The appointee may leave the position by serving one month prior notice.
If the notice period is shorter than one month, the candidate must deposit an amount equivalent to one month’s salary for issuance of relieving certificate.
Contract extension will depend on performance and availability of project funds.
Leave will be governed as per rules applicable to contractual employees of AIIMS Rishikesh.
AIIMS Rishikesh reserves the right not to fill the position if no suitable candidate is found.
Selected candidates must follow the dress code or uniform applicable to project staff at AIIMS Rishikesh.
