“Expanding antimicrobial resistance research and surveillance activities in the secondary level hospitals” (ICMR funded extramural research project).

Position Overview

Emoluments

• Consolidated monthly pay: ₹22,000
• Break-up: ₹20,000 + ₹2,000 (HRA @ 10%)
• No other allowance/facilities beyond consolidated salary are admissible.
• Payment of emoluments depends on availability of funds from the funding agency. Statutory taxes, if any, will be deducted at source.

Reservation & Certificates

• Candidates must produce their latest valid category certificates.
• OBC candidates: Latest valid Non-Creamy Layer certificate in Government of India format for the current financial year.
• PwD candidates: Disability certificate issued by a Government hospital medical board with not less than 40% disability.

3. Combine the application form and all enclosures into a single/consolidated PDF.

5. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.

Documents to Carry (Verification)

• Educational certificates and mark-sheets (10th standard onwards)
• Experience certificates
• Valid category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD, as applicable)
• Photo ID proof: Aadhaar Card / Indian Passport / PAN Card / Driving License
• Two recent passport size colour photographs
• No Objection Certificate (NOC) from present employer (at joining, if applicable)

Job Responsibilities

1. Laboratory posting and duties as assigned
2. Sample collection, transport, storage, quality assessment, and test processing
3. Record keeping and uploading of generated data
4. Coordination between secondary centre(s) and research institute
5. Any other duty assigned by PI/Co-PI pertaining to the study

Selection Process

• Shortlisting based on essential and desirable qualifications
• Walk-in Interview; written/skill test may be conducted if required
• Selection by Interview Committee; decision of the Committee/Institute will be final

General Terms & Conditions

• False/wrong information at any stage will lead to disqualification.
• Experience should be after acquiring the minimum essential qualification.
• Candidates already in regular time scale service under any Government Department/Organization are not eligible to apply.
• Qualification, experience, and other conditions may be relaxed/altered at the discretion of Director AIIMS Rishikesh / Recruitment Committee.
• The post is purely on contract; no claim for regular appointment/absorption in AIIMS Rishikesh/ICMR.
• No TA/DA will be paid; candidates must arrange their own travel/accommodation for the interview.
• Performance indicator will be applied; unsatisfactory performance can lead to termination at any time without prior notice/compensation.
• Resignation requires 1-month prior notice; if notice is less than 1 month, an amount equal to 1 month’s salary must be deposited for the relieving certificate.
• Selected candidate must join within 5 days of declaration of results and submit acceptance of all terms & conditions; a contractual agreement will be executed.
• Leave entitlement will be as per prevailing AIIMS Rishikesh/ICMR guidelines.
• Benefits like PF, Pension, LTC, Medical Claim, Staff Quarters, etc., applicable to regular staff are not admissible to project positions.
• AIIMS Rishikesh reserves the right not to fill the position if no suitable candidate is found.
