Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet one of the following qualifications:
- Option A: Master’s Degree with 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in concerned/relevant/allied subject (Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or Mathematics & Computing) from a recognized university.
- NET (UGC/CSIR) qualification OR Ph.D. as per UGC 2009/2016 regulations.
- Ph.D. candidates registered before July 11, 2009 are exempted from NET/SLET/SET if:
- Ph.D. awarded in regular mode;
- Thesis evaluated by at least two external examiners;
- Open viva conducted;
- Two research papers published (one in refereed journal);
- Two papers presented in UGC/ICSSR/CSIR-sponsored conferences.
- Option B: Ph.D. degree obtained from a foreign university ranked among top 500 in QS, THE, or ARWU global rankings.
Application Process
- Applications must be submitted online at https://careers.amuonline.ac.in.
- Separate application forms should be filled for each post.
- Processing fee: ₹500 (non-refundable), paid online. PwD candidates are exempted if valid certificate uploaded.
- After online submission:
- Print PDF of application form (A4 size), sign and paste photo.
- Attach self-attested copies of relevant documents and payment receipt.

Reservation and Relaxations
5% relaxation in marks is allowed for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/Differently-Abled candidates at both Bachelor’s and Master’s levels.
Applicable disabilities include: blindness, low vision, deafness, hard of hearing, locomotor disability (including cerebral palsy, dwarfism, leprosy cured, acid attack victims, muscular dystrophy), autism, intellectual disability, mental illness, and multiple disabilities including deaf-blindness.
Selection Process
- Applications will be shortlisted based on qualifications and eligibility.
- Eligible candidates list for interview will be displayed on the Women's College AMU website.
- Interview details (date, time, venue) will be announced online; no separate interview letter will be issued.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
- The University reserves the right to modify, alter, or cancel the advertisement or selection process without notice.
- Final selection will be based on interview performance.
