Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet one of the following qualifications:

1. Option A: Master’s Degree with 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in concerned/relevant/allied subject (Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or Mathematics & Computing) from a recognized university.
   • NET (UGC/CSIR) qualification OR Ph.D. as per UGC 2009/2016 regulations.
   • Ph.D. candidates registered before July 11, 2009 are exempted from NET/SLET/SET if:
     • Ph.D. awarded in regular mode;
     • Thesis evaluated by at least two external examiners;
     • Open viva conducted;
     • Two research papers published (one in refereed journal);
     • Two papers presented in UGC/ICSSR/CSIR-sponsored conferences.
2. Option B: Ph.D. degree obtained from a foreign university ranked among top 500 in QS, THE, or ARWU global rankings.

Application Process

1. Applications must be submitted online at https://careers.amuonline.ac.in.
2. Separate application forms should be filled for each post.
3. Processing fee: ₹500 (non-refundable), paid online. PwD candidates are exempted if valid certificate uploaded.
4. After online submission:
   • Print PDF of application form (A4 size), sign and paste photo.
   • Attach self-attested copies of relevant documents and payment receipt.
5. Send hard copy by post to:
   Principal, Women's College, AMU, Aligarh – 202002
   Superscribe the envelope with “Post Applied For, Advertisement Number and Date”.
6. Hard copy must reach on or before 20.10.2025. Late or incomplete forms will be rejected.

Selection Process

• Applications will be shortlisted based on qualifications and eligibility.
• Eligible candidates list for interview will be displayed on the Women's College AMU website.
• Interview details (date, time, venue) will be announced online; no separate interview letter will be issued.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
• The University reserves the right to modify, alter, or cancel the advertisement or selection process without notice.
• Final selection will be based on interview performance.
