Salary and Fellowship Details

Base Salary: ₹25,000/- per month + HRA
Nature of Payment: Consolidated Fellowship
Fellowship Conditions: As per Office of the Chief Conservator of Forest, Working Plan Uttarakhand, Haldwani order no. 650/19-1(2)-general dated 01/02/2023.

Eligibility Criteria

Essential Educational Qualification

Master’s Degree in Natural Science or Agricultural Science
OR MVSc
OR Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Technology / Medicine
Degree must be from a recognized University or equivalent institution

Desirable Knowledge and Experience

Knowledge and skills in computer applications (MS-Excel, MS-Word, MS-PowerPoint, etc.)
Field work experience in forestry research
Knowledge and experience in identification of trees, shrubs, and herbs
Measurement of inventory parameters of forest vegetation
Knowledge of GIS, handling of GPS devices, and basic Geospatial Technologies
Physically fit for extensive travel and trekking in mountainous/plain regions
Published research articles in recognized journals (preferred)
Preference for candidates with prior Forestry/Wildlife research and Biodiversity survey experience
