Base Salary
₹ 37,000 per month + HRA (as per Pay Matrix–1 under State Government HRA rules)

Job Roles and Responsibilities
The Junior Research Fellow (JRF) will assist in the formation of site-specific plans for Assisted Natural Regeneration (ANR) and Eco-Restoration works at field level in Nanda Devi National Park Forest Division, Jyotirmath.
- Field visits of proposed ANR plots and data collection.
- Preparation of site-specific plans and maps.
- Conduct ecological and carbon stock surveys.
- Provide technical and scientific assistance to DFO, SDO, and field staff.
- Establish and monitor ANR sample plots and identify seed-bearing trees.
- Maintain ANR journals, survey data, budget records, and photographs.
- Monitor intervention works and submit reports to DFO.
- Train front-line staff and conduct workshops on ANR techniques.
- Analyze interventions and field results, suggest measures for improvement.
- Prepare annual monitoring reports and identify long-term indicators.
- Assist in other forestry or research work assigned by DFO, Nanda Devi NP.
Terms and Conditions
