Educational Qualification and Eligibility Criteria

• Candidate must have passed Intermediate (10+2) examination from a recognized board with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
• Candidate must possess a DOEACC / NIELIT “O” Level Certificate or any equivalent computer qualification recognized by the Government of India as per Government Order dated 05 May 2022.
• Alternatively, a Diploma in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or Electronics Engineering from the Board of Technical Education, Uttar Pradesh or equivalent recognized qualification is acceptable.
• Additional recognized qualifications include:
  • Minimum 2 years of service in the Territorial Army
  • NCC “B” Certificate
  • Successful completion of Computer Hardware and Networking course from a recognized institution

Selection Process

The selection process for Computer Operator Grade-A will be conducted strictly in accordance with the Uttar Pradesh Police Computer Staff (Non-Gazetted) Service Rules, 2011 and the First Amendment Rules, 2015. Detailed stages of the selection process will be notified separately by the board.
