Age Limit

Eligibility Criteria
- Master’s Degree from a recognized University in any official language of the State under the jurisdiction of the Gauhati High Court.
- Computer Certificate of at least 6 (six) months’ duration.
- Law Graduates will be given due weightage.
Selection Process
Stage 1: Written Examination (Descriptive Type) – 100 Marks
- Duration: 2 hours
- Subjects: Proficiency in English and Assamese language
Stage 2: Viva-Voce / Interview – 30 Marks
- Ratio: 1:3 (Three candidates for one post may be called)
- Minimum Qualifying Marks in Interview: 60% (i.e., 18 out of 30 marks)
Final Selection: Based on total marks of Written Test + Viva-Voce. In case of a tie, the candidate securing higher written marks will be preferred. If still tied, the senior candidate in age will be preferred.
