Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualifications

Applicants must satisfy all terms and conditions related to qualifications, medical registrations, and experience as specified below:

Basic Qualification	• MBBS / MD from any recognized University/College approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI) / National Medical Commission (NMC) in the Allopathic system of medicine. • Applicants having MD – Medicine qualifications would be preferred.
Work Experience Requirements	For Candidates having MBBS Degree: Minimum 5 years’ experience as a General Practitioner reckoned as on the date of eligibility (01.09.2026) from the date of registration with the Medical Council of India, National Medical Commission, or State Medical Council. For Candidates having Post Graduate Degree: Minimum 3 years’ experience as a General Practitioner reckoned as on the date of eligibility (01.09.2026) from the date of registration with the Medical Council of India, National Medical Commission, or State Medical Council. Mandatory Condition: Experience gained during the internship period will not be counted for eligibility.
Age Limit	Candidate should not be more than 67 years as on September 01, 2026.

Remuneration, Allowances & Engagement Tenure

Base Remuneration	Rs. 1,000/- per hour
Travelling Allowances	Rs. 2,000/- per month
Compounding Fees (If Applicable)	Rs. 1,000/- per month
Engagement Tenure	Part-time on hourly basis. The term of engagement will be for an initial period of 3 years and will be reviewed every year.

Annulment of the Engagement & Terms

The engagement can be ended by one month’s notice on either side at any time during the subsistence of the period of engagement.
It may be noted that the Bank is under no obligation to issue a formal order of annulment or to give a formal notice in this regard.
No compensation is payable on annulment of the engagement period.
Under no circumstances, the engagement would confer any claim by the candidate for regular employment in the Bank or for renewal of the engagement period.

Selection Procedure

The selection procedure for the Part-Time Doctor position comprises the following steps:

Scrutiny of Applications: Applications received within the stipulated deadline will be scrutinized based on basic qualification, medical council registration, and post-registration experience criteria.
Personal Interview: Eligible candidates shortlisted after the scrutiny will be called to appear for a Personal Interview before a selection panel constituted by the Bank.

Bio-Data Submission: Interested eligible Doctors may send their bio-data in the attached format given as Appendix in the notification.
Important Instruction on Certificates: Please do NOT attach copies of any qualification/experience certificates with the bio-data. The same are to be submitted at the time of joining.
Mode of Dispatch: Applications must be sent solely by Ordinary Post.
Envelope Superscription: The envelope containing the application must be superscribed with:
“Application for engagement of Doctor on hourly basis”
Application Rejection Clause: Applications not containing the requisite information as per the prescribed format are liable to be rejected.
Application Deadline: The application must reach the specified address on or before 6:00 PM on September 12, 2026.
