Job Location

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification:
  Graduate in Law (3-year or 5-year full-time regular course) from a university recognized by the Government of India or its regulatory bodies. The candidate must be enrolled as an Advocate with the Bar Council.
• Professional Experience:
  Minimum 4 years of post-qualification professional experience as a practicing lawyer and/or with a law firm and/or as a Law Officer in a Bank, Financial Institution, reputed organization, and/or as a Judicial Officer. Experience may be cumulative.
• Language Requirement:
  Candidate must be well conversant with the local language and/or English.

• Minimum Age: 30 years
• Maximum Age: 35 years
• Age Calculation Date: As on the date of advertisement

Application Process

1. Applications must be submitted in the Standard Form of Application as published in the Assam Gazette.
2. The application along with complete bio-data, two recent passport-size photographs, and attested copies of testimonials in support of age, qualification, experience, citizenship, and address must be enclosed.
3. The application should be sent in a closed envelope superscribed as “Application for the Post of LEGAL OFFICER (Contractual)”.
4. Applications may be sent by Speed Post, Ordinary Post, or Courier, or may be dropped directly in the Drop Box at the Administration Department, Head Office.
5. Candidates already in service must apply through the proper channel.
6. Applications should not be handed over to any official of the Bank under any circumstances.
