Eligibility Criteria

• Only Indian Nationals are eligible.
• Candidate must have MBBS with permanent registration with the State Medical Council.
• Candidate must have at least 2 years of post-internship experience.
• All qualifications must be full-time and regular from a recognized Indian University/Institute.

Age Limit and Relaxation

Age will be calculated as on 29.04.2026. Specific upper age limit is not mentioned in the notification.

• PwBD candidates: 10 years relaxation.
• J&K domiciled candidates and Ex-Servicemen: As per Government of India guidelines.
• SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/EWS/PwBD relaxation will be applicable wherever vacancy is reserved.

• Category/PwBD certificate, if applicable

Selection Process

Selection will be based on personal interview through walk-in interview process.

Qualifying Marks: UR/EWS/OBC(NCL): 50%, SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen: 40% wherever vacancy is reserved.

Reservation Details

Reservation for OBC(NCL), SC, ST, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen, J&K domiciled candidates and victims of riots will be provided as per Government of India guidelines.

OBC candidates belonging to Creamy Layer are not eligible for OBC concession and must apply as General category.

Important Terms

• Engagement is temporary and contractual.
• Initial engagement will be for one year with provision of two extensions of six months each.
• Total engagement will not exceed two years.
• No claim for regularization or permanent absorption will be accepted.
• No private practice is allowed.
• Posting may be anywhere in THDCIL offices, projects or units in India.
• Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidate.
