Employment Type
Engagement as Proficiency Trainee (Nurses & Paramedics) is temporary in nature and contractual. Duration of training is 18 months, with periodic performance reviews. No claim for permanent employment is admissible.

Application Process
Eligible candidates must appear directly for the Walk-in Interview at the designated venue. No prior online or offline submission is required.

Eligibility Criteria
- Candidate must be an Indian National.
- Essential qualification: 10+2 and relevant Diploma in respective discipline (minimum 2 years duration).
- Desirable: Graduate degree in respective discipline.
- Valid registration in relevant councils (Nursing Council, Pharmacy Council, etc.), wherever applicable.
- Relevant post-qualification work experience will be preferred.

Reservation Details
Reservation will be provided as per Presidential Directives and Government of India norms. Candidates belonging to reserved categories may also apply against unreserved posts, provided they meet the eligibility criteria for the unreserved category.

Selection Process
The selection of candidates for engagement as Proficiency Trainees (Nurses & Paramedics) will be based solely on a Walk-in Interview at the designated venue. Document verification will also be conducted during the interview process.

Other Important Information
- Engagement is purely temporary and does not guarantee permanent employment.
- No PF, gratuity, HRA, or other permanent employee benefits are applicable.
- Medical benefits are available for self only at SAIL-ISP Hospital, Burnpur (no referrals).
- Trainees will be eligible for 7 days of leave in a year, along with closed holidays.
- Maternity leave is admissible as per Maternity Benefit Act, 1961.
- Termination of engagement can be done with one month’s notice from either party or immediately for poor performance, misconduct, or medical unfitness.
- On successful completion, an Experience Certificate will be issued by SAIL-IISCO Steel Plant Hospital.
- Candidates must adhere to norms of Safety, Discipline, Conduct, and Professional Ethics as laid out by the Medical Administration.
