Application Process
- Applications must be submitted online only through the SSC official website https://ssc.gov.in or the mySSC mobile app.
- Aadhaar-based authentication is encouraged for smooth application process.
- Hard copies or offline applications will not be accepted.
- Verification of documents and certificates will be carried out at the Physical Endurance & Measurement Test (PE&MT) stage.
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification (as on closing date):
- 10+2 (Senior Secondary) with Science and Mathematics from a recognized board, OR
- National Trade Certificate (NTC) in Mechanic-cum-Operator Electronic Communication System.
- Professional Attainment (Qualifying in Nature):
- English word processing test: 1000 key depressions in 15 minutes.
- Proficiency test in basic computer functions such as MS Office, file handling, formatting, etc.

Reservation Details
- No reservation is applicable for Persons with Disabilities (PwD).
- 10% of vacancies are reserved for Ex-Servicemen (ESM).

Selection Process
- Computer Based Examination (CBE) – 100 marks, 90 minutes duration, negative marking of 0.25 for each wrong answer.
- Physical Endurance & Measurement Test (PE&MT) – Qualifying in nature.
- Trade Test (Reading & Dictation in Hindi and English) – Qualifying in nature.
- Proficiency in Computer Operation – Qualifying in nature.
- Final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the CBE along with applicable bonus marks.
Other Important Information
- Medical Standards: Candidates must be in sound health without deformity. Vision should be 6/6 in one eye and 6/36 corrected to 6/9 or 6/12 in the other eye. Color blindness is not permissible.
- Physical Standards:
- Male: Height 170 cm; Chest 81–85 cm (with relaxations for hill areas and wards of Delhi Police personnel).
- Female: Height 157 cm (with relaxations as per rules).
- Incentives: NCC Certificate holders are eligible for bonus marks up to 5%. Candidates with degrees from Rashtriya Raksha University are eligible for bonus marks up to 5%.
- Pregnant female candidates at the time of PE&MT will be declared temporarily unfit until confinement is over.
- Strict rules against malpractice – any misconduct will result in cancellation of candidature and debarment from future examinations.
