Eligibility Criteria

Job Responsibilities

1. Maintain and monitor legal case database (CAT, High Courts, Supreme Court, etc.)
2. Draft petitions, replies, rejoinders, affidavits, and other legal documents
3. Assist SSC Officers in service and recruitment legal matters
4. Coordinate with Law Ministry and obtain legal opinions
5. Liaise with Law Ministry, Senior Law Officers, and Government Counsels
6. Scrutinize notices and contracts from a legal standpoint
7. Perform any other work assigned

Other Terms and Conditions

• Full-time engagement; no external assignments permitted
• Must sign contract and Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)
• No extra allowances for accommodation, transport, or medical
• Annual Performance Report (APR) will be maintained
• Remuneration may be increased by up to 5% if extended
• Maximum limit on total remuneration is 1.25× initial amount
• Violation of contract or secrecy may result in termination
• SSC retains intellectual property rights on consultant’s output
• Use of SSC name, logo, or contract publicity is prohibited
• Adherence to Government of India rules and conduct expected
• Unsatisfactory performance may lead to discontinuation without notice

• Applicable taxes will be deducted at source (TDS certificate will be issued)
• Police verification is mandatory as per MHA norms
• Negative police verification leads to immediate contract termination
