Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognized University.
- Degree must be recognized by Bar Council of India.
- Candidate must be registered as an Advocate under the Advocate’s Act, 1961.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills are required.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience.
- Experience in handling litigation matters in High Court / District Court.
- Proficiency in computer skills such as Word, Excel, and Data Analytics.
Age Limit
Maximum age limit is 35 years as on the last date of submission of application.
Job Responsibilities
- Handling and monitoring approximately 600 VCA-related court cases across the country.
- Managing 10–15 new cases added every month.
- Typing and preparation of legal documents, case files, and correspondence.
- Searching and retrieving original files and records for legal matters.
- Preparation and maintenance of case files for effective case management.
- Tracking and maintaining records of cheque bounce cases and legal proceedings.
- Issuance of No Objection Certificates (NOCs) as required.
- Checking, drafting, and sending emails to advocates.
- Coordination with advocates and legal representatives.
- Verification of advocates’ fee bills and legal agency bills.
- Updating case details on LIMBS Portal.
- Downloading court orders and judgments.
- Maintaining digital records of notices, petitions, and agreements.
- Processing and submitting e-Office files.
- Ensuring timely disposal of administrative and litigation matters.
- Any other work assigned by competent authority.
Contract Details
- Initial contract period: One year (full-time basis).
- Contract is extendable based on performance and requirements.
- Renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
- Number of posts may vary as per requirements.
