Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognized University.
  • Degree must be recognized by Bar Council of India.
  • Candidate must be registered as an Advocate under the Advocate’s Act, 1961.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills are required.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience.
  • Experience in handling litigation matters in High Court / District Court.
  • Proficiency in computer skills such as Word, Excel, and Data Analytics.

Age Limit

Maximum age limit is 35 years as on the last date of submission of application.

Job Responsibilities

  • Handling and monitoring approximately 600 VCA-related court cases across the country.
  • Managing 10–15 new cases added every month.
  • Typing and preparation of legal documents, case files, and correspondence.
  • Searching and retrieving original files and records for legal matters.
  • Preparation and maintenance of case files for effective case management.
  • Tracking and maintaining records of cheque bounce cases and legal proceedings.
  • Issuance of No Objection Certificates (NOCs) as required.
  • Checking, drafting, and sending emails to advocates.
  • Coordination with advocates and legal representatives.
  • Verification of advocates’ fee bills and legal agency bills.
  • Updating case details on LIMBS Portal.
  • Downloading court orders and judgments.
  • Maintaining digital records of notices, petitions, and agreements.
  • Processing and submitting e-Office files.
  • Ensuring timely disposal of administrative and litigation matters.
  • Any other work assigned by competent authority.

Contract Details

  • Initial contract period: One year (full-time basis).
  • Contract is extendable based on performance and requirements.
  • Renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
  • Number of posts may vary as per requirements.
