Application Process
Candidates must apply online only through the official RRB websites. Applications submitted by any other mode will not be accepted.
- Candidates must create an account on the RRB portal before applying.
- Active mobile number and email ID are mandatory for the entire recruitment process.
- Live photograph and scanned documents must be uploaded as per prescribed specifications.
- Multiple applications by the same candidate to different RRBs or the same RRB will result in rejection.
Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Must be a citizen of India or as per conditions laid down (Nepal, Bhutan, Tibetan refugees, and certain migrants from neighboring countries as per notification).
- Educational Qualifications: Post-specific educational and technical qualifications as mentioned in Annexure A of the official notification. Candidates awaiting final results are not eligible.
- Medical Standards: Candidates must satisfy the prescribed medical standards (B1, C1, C2) relevant to the post.
Age Limit
The age will be calculated as on 01 January 2026. Different posts have different ranges, as indicated in the vacancy table.

Selection Process
- Computer Based Test (CBT) with negative marking (1/3 for each wrong answer).
- Document Verification.
- Medical Fitness Test as per prescribed standards.
Shortlisting is done RRB-wise at the ratio of 1:1 of the vacancies, based on CBT merit.

Other Important Information
- Free Sleeper Class Railway Pass for SC/ST candidates (on request) for CBT, DV, and Medical Examination stages.

- Multiple applications will lead to rejection.
- Modification in application is allowed during the specified window only, with ₹250 fee.
