Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification Option 1:
  M.D. in General Medicine recognized by the Medical Council of India with a minimum of 5 years of experience after passing M.D.
• Qualification Option 2:
  M.B.B.S with a minimum of 7 years of experience after passing M.B.B.S as a registered Medical Practitioner.
• Preference:
  Preference will be given to doctors having M.D. in General Medicine. Doctors empanelled with PSU Banks either presently or previously will also be given preference.

Selection Process

1. Applications will be scrutinized by the Bank.
2. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview through email.
3. Final selection will be based on interview performance.
4. Engagement letter will be issued via email.
5. In case a selected candidate does not accept the offer, the next candidate in the waiting list will be offered engagement.

Contract & Working Hours

• Initial Contract Period: 2 years
• Extension: Extendable by another 2 years based on performance review
• Termination: Two months’ notice from either side
• Working Hours: 08 hours per week
• Visiting Schedule: To be decided by the Bank as per staff convenience

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide medical advice and consultation to Bank staff and their family members.
• Scrutiny and certification of medical, hospitalization, and ex-gratia bills.
• Provide medical opinion in special cases such as medical leave and transfers on medical grounds.
• Conduct medical check-ups of new recruits.
• Prescribe medicines and provide emergency medical assistance.
• Perform any other medical-related duties assigned by the Bank.

• Engagement is purely temporary and contractual.
• No entitlement to benefits such as PF, Gratuity, Leave Fare Concession, Bonus, or Medical Reimbursement.
• No claim for regular employment at any stage.
• Strict confidentiality must be maintained.
• Bank reserves the right to alter duty hours and location.
• Contract liable to termination in case of criminal proceedings or misconduct.
• All disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Courts in Delhi.
• Bank’s decision regarding eligibility, shortlisting, and interviews shall be final.
