Selection Process
- Shortlisting of candidates based on qualifications and experience
- Prasar Bharati reserves the right to conduct a Test and/or Interview
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the test or interview

Nature of Duties and Responsibilities
- Streamlining accounting practices, budgetary allocation, fund management, debt reconciliation, and receipt reconciliation
- Framing policies pertaining to the Budget & Accounts Division
- Integration of existing standalone accounting software of Prasar Bharati
- Filing of Income Tax returns of Prasar Bharati
- Processing Income Tax refunds from IT Authorities
- Resolving PAN/TAN discrepancies of Prasar Bharati network stations
- Conducting internal audit of field units
- Coordination with the Finance Division of both Directorates
- Resolving various Budget & Accounts related problems faced by Prasar Bharati units
- Coordination with financial planners of Accounts & Taxation and acting as a link officer
- Any other work assigned as and when required
Terms and Conditions of Engagement
- The engagement is purely contractual in nature
- No claim for regularization or absorption in Prasar Bharati shall be entertained
- The person engaged shall work on a full-time basis and will not be allowed to take up any other assignment
- Initial engagement shall be for one year and may be extended based on requirement and performance review
- The engagement can be terminated by either side with one month’s notice or one month’s salary in lieu thereof
- No pensionary benefits shall be admissible for this contractual engagement
- Prasar Bharati reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of positions at final selection
- Incomplete applications or applications without required documents will be rejected without any intimation
- Eligibility regarding age, qualification, and experience will be considered up to the date of issue of this notification
