Oil India Limited (OIL), a Maharatna Public Sector Undertaking and the second largest national upstream Oil & Gas Company with pan India presence and global footprint, has released a recruitment notification for the engagement of Contractual Chemist (Fields) on a purely contractual basis. The engagement is intended for immediate deployment at the Field Headquarters, Duliajan, Assam.

The contractual engagement is temporary in nature and involves working in shifts, hazardous field conditions, remote and far-flung operational locations, and on-call duties as per organizational requirements. Only Indian Nationals fulfilling all prescribed eligibility criteria on the date of registration are eligible to participate in the Walk-in Interview.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must have passed a Master's Degree in Chemistry of minimum two years duration from a Government of India recognized University or Institute.

Work Experience

• Minimum two years post-qualification work experience in handling drilling or workover fluids in the Exploration & Production (E&P) industry involving drilling and workover wells.

Nationality

• Only Indian Nationals are eligible to participate in the recruitment process.
