Venue Details

Venue: Office of the Chief Medical Officer of Health, Hooghly, Burrabazar, Chinsurah (Near Chinsurah Police Station), DRS Campus, Barabazar, Hooghly, West Bengal, PIN – 712101.

Remuneration

Rs. 1000/- per day for 3 (three) days in a week, for a period of 1 year or till fresh recruitment to the post.

Educational Qualification / Eligibility Criteria

• Passed H.S. (10+2) Examination or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
• Completed a two-year Diploma course in Medical Technology (Optometry) recognized by the State Medical Faculty of West Bengal or West Bengal Para Medical Council, or conducted by any recognized institution affiliated with a recognized university.
• OR, a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology (Optometry) from any institution/university recognized by the Government of West Bengal.
• OR, a one-year Diploma course in the concerned subject in Medical Technology (where basic qualification for undergoing the course is B.Sc. Pure/Bio) offered by the West Bengal State Medical Faculty or any recognized university.
• As per Notification Memo No. HF/O/MA/2171/2M-2/2014 Dated: 28.12.2016.

Selection Process

Selection will be conducted through a Walk-in Interview organized by the District Level Selection Committee (DLSC). The final ranking will be calculated based on the following components:

1. Degree/Diploma Score
2. Experience Score
3. Interview Score

Interested candidates must attend the Walk-in Interview personally with their original testimonials, one set of self-attested photocopies of all relevant documents, and one recent passport-size photograph.
