Job Location
Selected candidates will be posted in the divisions of Katihar, Alipurduar, Rangiya, Lumding, Tinsukia or at the Headquarters, NF Railway, Maligaon, Guwahati.

Employment Type
- Permanent appointment under Sports Quota.
- Probation period of 2 years.
- Selected candidates must sign a Service Bond to serve at least 5 years in Indian Railways.
Eligibility Criteria

Note: Educational qualifications must be from government recognized institutions. Sports achievements are valid only after 01.04.2023.
Application Fees
- For all candidates except concessions: ₹500
- For SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, Women, Minority, Economically Backward Class: ₹250
- Partial refund of fees will be provided to candidates who appear in trials after deduction of bank charges.
Selection Process
- Trial of Sports Performance – maximum 40 marks (minimum 25 required to be declared FIT).
- Interview and assessment of sports achievements and educational qualification – maximum 60 marks.
- Final merit prepared out of 100 marks (Trial + Interview).
- Minimum qualifying marks: Level 5/4 – 70, Level 3/2 – 65, Level 1 – 60.
- Medical examination as per Railway standards.
Reservation and Concessions
There is no reservation under Sports Quota. However:
- SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates must submit valid certificates in prescribed formats.
- OBC-NCL certificate must not be older than one year.
- EWS candidates must submit Income & Asset Certificate as per Annexure-E.
- Economically Backward Class (EBC) candidates must provide valid income certificate with annual family income less than ₹50,000.

- Upload scanned copies of educational certificates, sports achievement proofs, caste/income certificates, photograph, and signature.
- Provide active mobile number and valid email ID for communication.
- No offline or postal applications will be accepted.
- Candidates must bring original documents during trials for verification.

Other Important Instructions
- No TA/DA/accommodation will be provided for trials.
- Candidates must arrange their own sports kits and stay arrangements.
- Service bond requires candidates to serve at least 5 years.
- Candidature will be rejected if false information or forged documents are found.
- NF Railway has not appointed any agent or coaching centers. Beware of touts or racketeers.
- For legal disputes, jurisdiction lies with Central Administrative Tribunal, Guwahati.
